The City of Munford has scheduled a city-wide clean-up day for Saturday, April 27 from 8 to 11 a.m., starting and ending at Munford City Hall

“The City of Munford is pleased to again partner with Keep Tipton County Beautiful to offer the citizens of Munford an organized day to come together to beautify our city,” said Mayor Dwayne Cole. “It takes every citizen to address the litter problem in our area, and we hope all who can will come out in support of this effort.”

Area churches, businesses, civic groups, scouts and students are encouraged to participate in the city-wide trash pick-up.

A hot dog lunch will be provided for the volunteers at 11 a.m. when they return to City Hall.A household waste container will be placed in front of City Hall beginning the day of the clean-up event through Friday, May 3.  No hazardous waste, batteries or tires will be accepted.
